Mr Angus McIndoe is one of the foremost UK consultants working in the field of Gynaecological Oncology today. A New Zealand native, Mr McIndoe qualified in 1980, after which time he moved to the UK to take up a position at the Whittington Hospital in London. It was there that he gained general surgical training and experience, including a clinical research fellowship at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund under Professor Peter Beverley – subsequently leading to a PhD. Mr McIndoe is now a recognised leader in the field of colposcopy. He is a fully trained and accredited gynaecological oncologist and was lead in both these areas at Imperial College Healthcare for many years. He has worked at The Wellington Hospital, The London Clinic, The Portland Hospital, The Lindo Wing of St Mary’s, and The Sainsbury wing at The Hammersmith.
